How long have you been in business?
NASRO has been in business for 16 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is that of a health insurance plan administer for our members in California, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Of equal importance is our advocacy work on behalf of our members focused on supporting universal health care and electric transportation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
NASRO first went on line in 1995 to raise awareness for a policy conference we sponsored on Drugs and Crime. My background is that of senior management for non-profit health insurance plans and that of a health care consultant prior to founding NASRO.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a socially responsible business organization.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
NASROcurrently has five locations in the United States and plans on adding two additonal offices this year.
