CorTechs Labs, Inc. develops and markets advanced methods for the quantitative analysis of medical images. As the developer of the first FDA-cleared (and now CE Mark) medical device to provide fully-automated quantification of regional brain volumes, NeuroQuant uses volumetric analysis as a helpful tool in the assessment of several neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, MS and traumatic brain injury. Volumes from an individual brain are compared to a normative database that is adjusted for age, sex and cranial volume. This, and the ability to track these volumes across time makes NeuroQuant a very helpful clinical and research tool. The product is being used in over 500 institutions and has produced over 80,000 reports.
