What is your primary product or service?
Hawaiian "Plate Lunch" cuisine, "kau-kau" in a catered setting. Whether just delivered or a full service function, Da Kine's will always provide the comfort food known around the "islands" as "plate lunches" .
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Well, I liked to eat. And I liked to cook. I also didn't want to work in the pineapple fields when I was young so I went to work at "Zippy's". That was 38 years ago.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Because I am exactly who I am, what you see is what you get. I really do care about my customers. I actually ask myself how do I want to be treated, and the I turn around and apply it my customers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The Catering Kitchen is the only existing operation. As far as expansion, who knows....

Whenever I'm awake....heh,heh...."catering humor"....try it. Actually,The office hours are Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM.
